Downloading signed PDFs
Export submissions as professional documents.
Accessing submissions
When a client submits a form, you'll receive an email notification (if enabled) and the submission appears in your Submissions dashboard.
Click on any submission to view the full details — all the client's responses plus their signature.
Downloading the PDF
From the submission detail view, click the "Download PDF" button.
The PDF includes:
- Your practice name and form title
- Submission date and time
- All questions and the client's answers
- The signature image, embedded directly in the document
- A professional, clean layout suitable for client records
File naming
PDFs are automatically named in this format:
For example: Coaching-Agreement_Jane-Smith_2025-12-09.pdf
Where to store PDFs
IntakeEase generates PDFs on-demand — we don't store them on our servers after you download. You're responsible for saving them to your preferred location:
- A folder on your computer organized by client
- Google Drive or Dropbox
- Your practice management system (if you use one)
Tip: The Client Directory in IntakeEase automatically organizes submissions by client, so you can always come back and re-download a PDF if needed.
