Generating a shareable link
Once your form is saved, open it from your Forms dashboard and click the "Share" button.
IntakeEase generates a unique, secure link for that form. Each link is tied to your account but doesn't require your client to create an account or log in.
How to share the link
Click "Copy Link" and paste it anywhere:
- In an email to your client
- In a text message
- In your scheduling confirmation (Calendly, Acuity, etc.)
- In a welcome packet or onboarding document
The link works on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone. Most clients complete forms on their phone in under 5 minutes.
Link options
- Expiration date (optional) — Set the link to expire after a certain date if you want to create urgency or limit access
- Deactivate link — Turn off a link at any time so it can no longer be used
- Multiple links — You can create multiple links for the same form to track different sources (e.g., one link for email, one for your website)
What your client sees
When a client clicks the link, they see:
- Your form with your practice name at the top
- All fields laid out cleanly for mobile or desktop
- A signature pad they can sign with their finger or mouse
- A submit button
After submitting, they see a confirmation message. No account creation, no app download, no friction.
Tip: Send the form link before the first session. Most coaches include it in their booking confirmation email with a note like: "Please complete this intake form before our first session."
